What is with today, today?  Man, days fly by.  I have been busy all day, but I can't seem to recall one thing I have done.  Maybe I have not done anything at all.  Or maybe I get too caught up in things that are not that important in the end.  I don't know.  Randomness prevails...

Here is some food for thought:

"A happiness that is sought for ourselves alone can never be found:  for a happiness that is diminished by being shared is not big enough to make us happy...True happiness is found in unselfish love, a love which increases in proportion as it is shared.  There is no end to the sharing of love, and, therefore, the potential happiness of such love is without limit."  Thomas Merton

This makes me think that I have been searching for the wrong things most of my life.  Is there such a thing as "unselfish love" where I can love completely without thought of what I can get out of it?
